Getting to know communities
At Knights Brown we believe our people should enjoy fulfilling careers, our customers should have high quality projects, communities should be improved by our work and involvement, and the environment and nature should benefit from our behaviour. In this way, we seek to realise ambitions for all.
We take care to make sure all our people have the right skills, knowledge, character, culture and work space to be able to perform to their best, enabling us to collectively deliver projects that our customers and we can be proud of.
We're an independent, multidisciplinary, construction company. In addition to our office in Kent, which is responsible for the delivery of this contract, we also have a divisional office in Hampshire and another in south Wales.
We're looking forward to getting to know the Dukes Meadows community and becoming part of it while we're here. We know our presence will have an impact on local people. We would encourage you to speak to us, just say hello, or tell us about your concerns so we can resolve particular issues at the earliest opportunity.

Site working hours
Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 5:30pm. We are always careful to limit any noise from machinery and equipment prior to 8am and after 5pm. As an exception we may introduce Saturday working where there is a need to make up any lost time but generally we aim to preserve rest days for the well-being of our team. Occasionally particular tasks may require long or unusual working hours. Where this is the case we will give notice of what to expect.
